Dutch producers, Bingo Players, made their way across the Atlantic to Boston. It’s been told here and there that dubstep originated in the Netherlands. As someone who’s not that much into the genre, I didn’t really know what to expect with Bingo Players. Sure, I was excited to see them; it was my first time. They played their big hit with Far East Movement, “Rattle,” which had some interesting use of synths and pounding beats and drops. They did an awesome job getting the audience riled up. The venue had a lot less people than usual as well. Overall, it was a good time. I can’t say I’ve been converted into a dubstep fan now, but it was a good show to experience.
